WGC – HSBC Champions

It was a mixed bag of a week for us at the CJ Cup with only a small return to show from our main team with Cam Smith tying for 7th place.

It was a different story though from our trader Scott Piercy who performed excellently for us trading as low as 4.5 v the recommended back price of 360.

So with two thirds of the Asian Swing completed…

WEEKLY TRADER PICK RESULTS

As regular readers will know in addition to my main team each week I usually pick one further player that I am recommending as a bet purely to trade on the betting exchanges.

This player is always priced at at least 200 at the time of recommendation on the exchanges.

The pick is not a player I particularly fancy to win the event…

The CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges

Another week which started promisingly for us unfortunately ended disappointingly again with Billy Horschel fading over the weekend and JT never really getting out of second gear until the final round.

So with the first week of the ‘Asian Swing’ complete we now move on to its second leg, The CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges.

The event debuted…

The first week of the new season had started brightly for us with Alex Prugh’s opening 66 on Thursday, however it ultimately ended frustratingly for us as Prugh folded tamely in the wind on Sunday and the rest of our team failed to get in to serious place contention.

So, with the new seasons curtain raiser in California over the PGA Tour now jets off…

So, after a nice weeks break where we got to watch the Ryder Cup it’s back down to our bread and butter as the 2018/19 PGA Tour season gets underway.

The 17/18 season was a pretty successful one as we finished the year with a profit in excess of 65 points.

The 18/19 season promises to be an interesting one with significant changes having…

After a weeks break the BMW Championship, weather problems and all, seems a long time ago now.

Having said that the memory of another hard to swallow defeat for us with Justin Rose’s Play Off loss still lingers.

With play having been completely washed out on the Sunday and with the deluge continuing to fall overnight a 54 hole event…

It was a frustrating week for us at the Dell Technologies Championship. Things started badly with Billy Horschel’s unfortunate withdrawal in round 1 due to illness and finished with a typical 36 hole ball striking clinic from Kyle Stanley coupled with unfortunately with an also typical putting display from him.

As a result Kyle finished one shot…

It was a solid week for us in the end at The Northern Trust with Adam Scott returning a full place and our trader Jamie Lovemark producing a fine performance over the first two days.

In the end though Bryson Dechambeau took a grip of the tournament with a fine 3rd round and closed things out fairly comfortably on Sunday.

All in…

So it was all about Brandt Snedeker at the Wyndham Championship last week as after opening up with a 59, despite a few wobbles along the way and being put under pressure down the stretch on Sunday by CT Pan, Sneds managed to close things out for a wire to wire victory.

From our point of view it was a disappointing showing as a whole from our main…

So despite the bulk of our team playing fairly poorly at the PGA it was a great week for us in the end as Brooks Koepka produced another one of his magnificent Major displays to walk away with his second Major of the year and third in less than fifteen months.

With a wrist injury forcing Brooks to miss a large part of the early season including…
